THE DOJO is a curated classic games and gifts retailer, importer, and wholesaler based in Cyprus. We focus on materials, build standards, and longevity. The selection is intentionally narrow.
We work with established makers and proven production lines, prioritising predictable quality, strong component tolerances, and reliable wear. The result is a collection that feels calm, considered, and built to be used.
We are the official distributor in Cyprus for a selection of leading playing-card brands and core lines, including COPAG®, KEM®, Fournier®, BICYCLE®, Bee®, and TALLY-HO®.
What we curate
Our core categories are playing cards, backgammon sets, casino chips, and gifting. Each category is treated with the same discipline: components, balance, tolerances, and finishes matter as much as the headline design.
Our products are selected to feel right in hand, sit properly on a table, and hold up through repeated handling – whether for home play, a poker night, a lounge setting, or a more formal gift.
What we prioritise
We prioritise objects that perform well and age gracefully. Premium stock and finish. Board construction, material integrity, and surface feel. Controlled weight, edge detail, balance, and stability where components are involved. A refined, premium finish that stays presentable over time.
Design is kept restrained. The goal is calm utility, not novelty.
How we select
We look for consistent production standards and predictable wear over time. Materials, joins, and finishing must meet high standards to be considered. If an item is made primarily to display, it still needs to be resolved properly to belong here.
Where a product has a specific handling profile or intended use, we state it plainly.
